Following the Memorandum of Understanding signed by the Tuscany Region, the Metropolitan City of Florence and the Municipality of Sesto Fiorentino (as one party) and A. Menarini Manufacturing Logistics & Services Srl (in its capacity as owner), the Building Permit for the area called “Ex Longinotti” was presented. This includes a highly innovative production platform of national and international importance in the field of Life Science, which will guarantee maintenance for the industrial urban use of the lot, as well as environmental and productive redevelopment of the abandoned area. This project consolidates the presence of top quality Tuscan productions located along the highway between Impruneta and Calenzano, as well as the visual perception of an industrial landscape that is strongly associated with the “Tuscany” brand, both in terms of creative and productive capacity, but also for the architectural quality of the factories.
